Because you want to remember who they
were...
Because
they were so special...
Because love never dies...
...We
offer a way they can be remembered
Memorials |
Combined Memorial Projects —
Through the
combined efforts of families just like yours, we can arrange for your
loved one to be remembered through significant contributions that
would not be
possible otherwise.
By combining the generosities of directed memorials and
estates major projects in ministry can significantly contribute to the
ongoing outreach and ministry of the church as well as the continued
remembrances of your loved one.
Individual Memorial Projects —
From time to time bereaved families are interested in leaving a memorial
item for the ministry of the church whose sole remembrance is for the
loved one. The Memorial Ministry offers a list of possible memorial gifts
for your consideration. An ongoing, updated list is kept on file at the
church office. Any and all are welcome to stop by and review the list for
any possible memorial opportunities that particularly fit your desires.

Lasting Memories — beyond the grief and pain
Bloomfield Christian Church has a historical tradition of
remembering the saints that have blessed our ministry over our 150 years
of ministry with their gifts and talents. Visit our church facilities and
you can see the silent testimony of faith of hundreds of people just like
your loved one who have graced the lives of people and continue to bless
over the years.
By providing a continuing remembrance of loved ones gone by
through the tangible gifts left to the church we find their caring and
blessing continues even after the grief and pain of their going has
subsided. Through these gifts their love continues to be extended
throughout Davis County, our country and the world.
What’s more, depending on how the gifts are given they can
perpetually minister to people at all walks of life. |
Family consideration — first!
Our memorial ministry is comprised of a handful of volunteers who
are committed to you. Above all, your wishes along with the wishes of
your loved ones, are kept in highest regard. While we do have guidelines
which we or obliged to follow, we see these guidelines to serve the
greater good of the ministry at hand. Special consideration and new ideas
are always welcome because we understand that each person is special
because of the unique nature in which God made them.
Prearrangements —From
time to time people come to us prior to death and leave word with us on
special directives on memorials. For those cases we keep a memorial
record on file. These records often contain funeral service requests as
wishes. This can be an invaluable tool for prearranging one’s services.
Final Word —
Ultimately you have the final word and approval on the directives that are
to be taken with memorials.
Please consider a memorial
directed to the Bloomfield Christian Church to honor your loved one.
